POTS Awareness Month 2026

POTS Awareness Month 2026

This October, Connected for a Cause is putting the spotlight on Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) — a condition that can have a profound impact on everyday life while still being widely misunderstood.

POTS can affect heart rate, circulation, energy, concentration, temperature regulation, digestion, mobility, and a person’s ability to participate in school, work, relationships, and everyday activities.

For the people living with POTS, awareness matters. But this month, we want to go one step further.

Our October Goal: $500 for Dysautonomia International

Connected for a Cause has created an official fundraiser benefiting Dysautonomia International, with a goal of raising $500 by October 31.

Funds raised through our campaign will support the organization’s work to advance research, education, physician awareness, patient resources, and advocacy for people affected by POTS and related autonomic disorders.

Every donation matters — whether it’s $5, $25, $50, or simply sharing the fundraiser with someone else.

Shop in October. Give Back at the Same Time.

There’s another way to support the campaign.

Throughout the entire month of October, 10% of all Connected Boutique sales will be donated to our POTS Awareness Month fundraiser.

That means every skincare purchase, lip product, eyeshadow, or other Connected Boutique order placed during October will help us move closer to our fundraising goal.

There is no special code required and nothing additional customers need to do.

                      You shop. We donate. 💙

Why POTS Awareness Matters

POTS is more than feeling dizzy when standing.

For some people, it can mean fainting, extreme fatigue, brain fog, rapid heart rate, exercise intolerance, gastrointestinal symptoms, temperature regulation problems, blood pooling, weakness, and significant limitations in daily activities.

Symptoms can fluctuate dramatically, and because many of them are invisible, people living with POTS are often misunderstood long before they receive appropriate recognition or support.

Greater awareness can lead to earlier conversations, better understanding, stronger advocacy, and ultimately better care.

Help Us Turn Awareness Into Action

Our goal for October is simple:

Educate. Advocate. Raise $500. Make an impact.

You can help by donating directly, shopping Connected Boutique during October, sharing our fundraiser, or sharing our POTS Awareness Month educational content.

Every person who learns something new about POTS is another person who can better understand and support someone living with it.

Together, we can turn awareness into action.

Fundraiser ends October 31, 2026.
